Adult Lego Printing Workshop
Adult Lego Printing Workshop
Lego Printing Workshop
£30 (1.5 hours)
The workshop is suitable for adults 18+
In this workshop we will be learning to print with Lego.
This workshop is with Darren. Booking is essential.
Darren started lego printing with our (then nearly 2 year old) sons Duplo whilst experimenting with print in 2016-17 for his MA in Graphic Design which quickly moved into Lego. We've been running Lego printing workshops since 2018.
The inky Duplo and Lego in our studio is one of the first things kids point out when coming in with their parents who then ask if they can do a workshop as well as the kids. We've had a two year break on in person sessions due to covid, lockdowns and restrictions but it's back!
Using Lego, ink, brayers and our presses you'll create and print your own designs. Experimenting with different colours, overlays and different textures and experimenting to modular letterforms and patterns and how to make your plates type high.
We provide all materials. The ink we use for this workshop is oil based, please wear suitable clothing as it may stain fabrics.
This workshop is in the historic Round Tower, Old Portsmouth.
Midweek after work sessions, music, beers (you bring these if you want to!) or coffees for an evening of creativity and inky lego.
